South of the A 30, from Axminster in
the West, through to Dorchester and Sherborne. The eastern side of
the country has larger, rolling arable fields, much of it over chalk
downland, while in the west and north, the smaller fields of mainly
stock farms lie on heavier land and are still predominantly down to
grass. The Park Beagles therefore hunt primarily in West Dorset by
kind permission of the Cattistock, Seavington Foxhounds and
Cotley Harriers. |

History |
The pack was founded in 1962 and kennelled initially at Park Farm,
Broadwindsor, hence the name of the pack.
Since 2000 about 25 couple of hounds are in kennels near
Beaminster |
