| History: |
Originally the Bermingham and north Galway hounds founded by Molly O' Rourke. Handed over to a committee on her retirement, hounds are still kennelled at her ancestral home in Tuam where her daughter and granddaughter, also keen hunting folk reside. Run by a committee of landowners and keen hunting families and not adverse to a bit of turbulence from time to time!! North galway hunt is a small friendly pack hunting twice a week on a Sunday and a Wednesday. Visitors welcome by arrangement and excellent hirelings are available in the country. |
