Treasurer Michael Heywood
Whippers-in: Mr Stuart Allen

Chairman: Mr Mike Akester
Hunt country: A wild and unchanged country made up of moor, forestry and some good lowland. No towns, railways and only one A road.
Some limited jumping, legendary bogs!
Very beautiful part of North Yorkshire
History: Arguably England's oldest hunt to pursue foxes exclusively, founded in 1668 by the Duke of Buckingham. The hunts history is rich with folklore and characters and is the subject of the well known song "Dido, Bendigo".
Field Masters Mr Keith Balbach
Ms Nicola Wilson
Mrs Anne Goodall

Supporters' Club secretary Anne Goodall
Supporters' Club chairman Mr Gary Howes
CA representative Michael Heywood
Point to Point secretary Mr Michael Heywood

Hounds: 30 couple of Modern English Foxhounds, first entered in the stud book in 2006.

The hunt would like to extend a warm welcome to visitors to this small, friendly hunt. Many (including the Horse and Hound's Johnny Beardsall) are left wondering how we survive some of our rougher country! Much fun to be had following hounds over country largely untouched by the 21st century. Field sizes average 25-45 on a Saturday, 10-20 on a Tuesday. Visitors day money £45.

Anybody you would like to support what is probably the oldest foxhunt in the world in these difficult times for hunting in England, non voting memberships of our international supporters club are available for £25, which will keep you updated with our newsletters via email. Our legacy to future generations is very important and all supporters welcome.
